Please make sure that there is space to park either on your property or immediately outside. If we can't park the full cost of the groom is still payable.
  • How often should my dog be groomed?
The interval between grooming appointments depends largely on how short you like to keep your dog’s coat and how well your dog is brushed and cared for at home. Obviously every dog is unique and if you would like some advice on the type of brushes to use at home or any other guidance on how to avoid your dog getting matts, please call us. Here is some general guidance: Curly and wool coated dogs (e.g. poodles, bichons, cockapoos and cavapoos) These breeds need brushing daily and professional grooming every 4 to 6 weeks (6 – 8 weeks if regularly brushed) Silky and long coated dogs (e.g. shihtzus, schnauzers, spaniels and Tibetan terriers) These breeds need brushing daily and professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks (8 – 12 weeks if regularly brushed) Wire Coated dogs (e.g. border terriers, westies) Weekly brushing and professional grooming every 8 to 12 weeks (12 – 16 weeks if regularly brushed) Double coated dogs (e.g. border collies, retrievers, German shepherds) Brushing every other day and professional grooming every 8 to 12 weeks (12 – 16 weeks if regularly brushed)
  • Do you groom giant breeds?
No. Unfortunately it is only possible to groom dogs that weigh less than 40kg in our Mobile Spas.
  • My Dog is very matted. Can you still groom it?
We can still groom your dog. However, it is our policy not to try to brush out thick mats as it can cause distress to your pet. In these circumstances we will clip the matts off which may mean that we need to cut your pets coat shorter than usual. In view of the extra time taken to groom matted dogs there will be an additional charge. You can find further details in our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Pricing.
  • Do you clean ears and clip nails?
Yes. This is part of the groom and is carried out at no extra cost. However, we cannot express anal glands as we are no longer permitted to do so.
  • Does the Mobile Dog Spa need to be plugged in?
Yes. For Mobile Dog Spa appointments, we need access to a power socket, to allow us to plug in our power cable. Typically our extension cables are between 5 and 8 metres long. Our Mobile Spas carry everything else we need (such as water) on board.
  • How large are your Mobile Dog Spas?
Our Mobile Dog Spas are 6 metres long. We need to be able to park close to your house as our plug in cables are only about 5-8 metres long. You can see a picture of one of our Mobile Dog Spas here.
  • How does your Mobile Service for Cats work?
We groom your pet in a specially converted vehicle. Our Cat Spas carry their own power, so we don't need to plug into a power supply. You will need to have a strong, secure cat carrier to allow our groomer to take your pet to and from the Mobile Spa.
  • What do I need to do before the Mobile Spa arrives?
You need to make sure that your pet hasn't been let out and is in a secure cat carrier.
  • How large are your Mobile Cat Spas?
Our Cat Spas are 5 metres long. You can see a picture here.
